Don’t let the innocent smile fool you. When not hard at work, you are likely to find Kymberlie dressed in leather and astride her motorcycle. Most likely she will be riding to the arena to play some hockey or to another dirt bike race or to the pool to watch her girls swim. Wow! Talk about releasing penned up stress! We’re still not sure where this comes from. Our customers know Kym as “the sweet one”. We know her as “the one to go to” when it comes to all things pertaining to the industry.

Tom brings a work ethic to TIS that is beyond compare. And talk about customer service. He once drove 2,000 miles to let the UPS driver know that he delivered the package to the wrong address! He didn’t really, but we are afraid he will one day. Don’t let his dedication fool you. He is really here to escape the police lights, tazer guns and traffic tickets and to earn a few bucks to replace the camera that was confiscated at the nude beach. If you have questions, Tom will get you the answers.

Stephanie started at TIS while she was still in high school and worked her way through college while working her way up the ladder, with a brief stint in Australia along the way. Holy Cow! Now she’s married and proud mom to Snickers the dog. At night she dreams of uptake systems, flood sources and Christopher Walkin which makes her pretty well-rounded in our book, although, she still can’t convince us she is Julia Roberts’ identical twin. Take a few minutes to talk to Steph and we promise you will walk away smiling in addition to being impressed with her knowledge of nuclear medicine products.

Joyce has been with our company for 13 years. We would like to meet the customer who has never spoken to her at some point. She is our go to person when things need to be gotten to. Joyce is such an asset to TIS that when she wanted to move out of state to be closer to family we made her take a computer so she could work from home. Don’t let this kind, grandmotherly face fool you. It’s true - she is kind and she is a proud Grandmother but she can change the oil in a car and she plants a pretty mean flower garden as well.

Jenette was once a Russian spy which probably explains her pipeline to the information and people who know everything about the latest and greatest products on the market. Walk by her office anytime and you are sure to hear laughter as she is just one of those people that can even make food poisoning fun. As fun as she is she still brings some seriously good products and seriously deep research to our product line. When away from TIS, Jenette runs a hostel for Ulster kids, hockey players, relatives, and friends.

It’s a good thing Janet escaped the gunfire at the OK Corral in her previous life because it has equipped her with the ability to handle all the projects, literature and trade shows we throw her way. If it has a TIS logo on it you can be relatively sure she is behind it. It’s her job to make us look good so we’re nice to her. That and the fact that she makes all of our travel and hotel arrangements. And you can be sure none of us wants to sleep in the hotel basement or take the red-eye. When not at work you can find her mumbling to herself while playing a vigorous game of Whack-a-Mole.

Caryn Weinberg, President, CFO

Being the President and CFO, you would think we have to say nice things and be all proper with Caryn. Truth is, she is just one of us. She just happens to be the one of us who carries the wallet. Some might call her a bean counter but in truth she is an M & M counter. In fact we are pretty sure that she has earned favorite customer status with those goofy little candy guys. Caryn is based out of our Solon office. To gain entry to the main office she must come with homemade baked goods. Hey, we’re no fools. Caryn is a master baker and all around really nice person.

We’ve seen Andrea do back flips, somersaults, cartwheels, and walk the balance beam to keep us stocked with product, handle our suppliers and handle us, but we’ve never seen her walk on her hands. She claims she can actually do this, and we’re smart enough to not doubt her. She may be small, but she is mighty and if you need action she is the one to go to. With her 3 girls at home and all us kids at work it’s a wonder she ever relaxes. She must have some secret, but so far she’s not giving it up.

Betse is so laid back that the only time we don’t have to check for a pulse is when the conversation turns to The Fighting Irish of Notre Dame. She’s such a fanatic that when her grand kids were born the first apparel she purchased for them had the Notre Dame logo on them. Even her dog wears a Notre Dame sweater! In her down time you will find her with her grand kids, officiating a high school track meet or writing emails containing suggestions for Charlie Weis.

Kathy is pretty shy and reserved so getting personal information from her is not that easy. But we can tell you that she is really nice, really good at her job and if she’s around you had better hide the chocolate!

Carl George, Materials Control Manager

It’s a good thing that Carl is a former Marine. It gave him the discipline necessary to handle our warehouse, packing and shipping operations and his no fear attitude gives him the ability to deal with all of us. He’s also good for killing strange bugs that surface occasionally. He is a serious collector of comic books and claims he’ll be the one laughing in 50 years. Carl is a huge Pittsburgh Steelers fan but we put up with his Big Ben rantings because he is also a pretty good guy.
