So, who is your source for Sources? TIS would like it to be us! We carry sheet sources in sizes to fit nearly every camera imaginable, in standard strengths recommended by your camera manufacturer and some not so standard but useful strengths, also. We have flexible floods, standard floods, hard cases and soft cases - all with free return kits. We carry Dose Calibrator reference sources in Co-57, Cs-137, Ba-133 and Co-60 in E-vial AND Syringe forms. We have Spot Markers, Rod Sources, Flexible and Rigid Rulers, Line Sources and Pen Point Markers. We also carry the newest "S" source for PET - the only direct traceable dose calibrator standard cross reference to Fluorine-18 (F-18). Quite frankly, with all of the product choices and options that we carry for your quality assurance and control needs, we can't see why you would go anywhere else!
The round of flood source is for those who have older and/or refurbished camera requiring the 18" circular design. The BM02 flood source comes in 5 mCi, 10 mCi, 15 mCi and 20 mCi.

Radshield? was designed to provide an easier alternative for transferring your source to the camera with minimal exposure without moving a 60 plus pound case around your Nuclear Medicine Department. While weighing only 28 pounds it provides similar radiation dose reduction as the typical hard case, by shielding the surface of the source not an oversize case.

Some habits die hard and everyone's level of comfort is different. We understand that - and so does RadQual. That is why we are able to bring you the hard case "integrated" with Radshield?. It will provide you with packaging you have become accustomed to, yet maintains the benefits of Radshield?. The "integrated" hard case is available with or without wheels. Integrated hard case is available for BM01, BM02 and BM04 model sources only.

The Perflexion flood source eliminates bulk and weight with its unique flexible
design and tungsten composite WolfGuard shield. The Perflexion has superior
source uniformity, low impurities, and excellent durability.
Only Perflexion gives you:
- Lightest weight - weighs less than 29 lbs including the tungsten shield and hard case
- Smallest form factor - source rolls to fit in a 6" x 6" x 22" tube for convenient storage
- Best shielding - 5-10x better than lead cases

Dose Calibrator Sources are generally available for immediate shipment upon receipt of order and current license. All E-vials are calibrated against traceable National Institute of Standards (NIST) solution in an identical geometry using a pressurized ion chamber. Each one comes packaged in an individual lead shield that is color coded to the source and all are shipped with a Certificate of Calibration, and a custom decay calendar. E-vials are available as follows:
Barium-133 (0.25 mCi)
Cesium-137 (0.2 mCi)
Cobalt-57 (5 mCi)
Cobalt-57 (10 mCi)
Cobalt-60 (.05 mCi)
Set of three sources (Co-57, Ba-133 and Cs-137)

The NIST traceable "Mock" syringe dose calibrator or "S" Source, as we like to call them, does double duty! Now you can calibrate your ion chamber in a vial geometry and calibrate for a syringe geometry as part of your daily routine. As with the standard e-vails, each one comes packaged in an individual lead shield that is color coded to the source and all are shipped with a Certificate of Calibration, and a custom decay calendar.
"S" Sources available:
Barium-133 (0.25 mCi)
Cesium-137 (0.2 mCi)
Cobalt-57 (5 mCi)
Cobalt-57 (10 mCi)
Cobalt-60 (.05 mCi)
Set of three sources (Co-57, Ba-133 and Cs-137)

A Flexible Line Source aids in anatomical outlining for SPECT Imaging, such as liver, kidney, thyroid, brain and heart. This Line source is extremely flexible and easily shaped. Each source contains 150 uCi of Co-57 evenly distributed throughout the epoxy.

The Flexible Ruler aids in indicating anatomical location in SPECT imaging. It also aids in indicating organ size by counting the number of visible "hot and cold" segments. The source contains 460 uCi of Co-57 (20 mCi per segment) with 23 hot segments. The total length is 18.9 inches.

For those of you who are not so "flexible", the Rigid Ruler may be the answer. It also aids in anatomical location for SPECT imaging and can indicate organ size by counting the number of hot and cold segments. Contains 160 uCi of Co-57 (20 uCi per segment). There are 8 "hot" segments and the ruler is 6.7 inches in length.

The Rigid Line is used to test SPECT camera head rotation alignment. There are Line Sources in a range of activities and dimensions to meet the different requirements of the various camera companies. The standard activity is 1.5 mCi with an overall length of 12.5 inches and an active length of 12 inches. Overall diameter is .25 inches and active diameter is .04 inches. These sources are double encapsulated stainless steel.

Spot Markers can aid in patient orientation for both PET/SPECT and Planar imaging. The 1 inch diameter acrylic discs contain a nominal activity of 50 uCi or 100 uCi of Co-57, which is centered in the disc. The discs are .25 inches thick. NA-22 and Ge-68 discs are also available.

These Spot Markers provide high activity levels for PET/SPECT and Planar camera performance testing. Nominal activity is centered in an acrylic disc which is 1 inch in diameter and .25 inches thick. Appropriate shielding for higher level sources is included. High Activity Co-57 Spots are available in 1.0 and 5.0 mCi.

L/R Markers aid in patient orientation for SPECT and Planar imaging. Nominal activity is 33 uCi in the left marker and 66 uCi in the right marker. Activity concentrations in uCi per mm is equivalent in both markers .2 inches in diameter and .25 inches thick, the discs are backfilled with epoxy to seal in the activity.

Designed to mimic a tube source, calibrated Rod Sources are manufactured by gravimetric transference of NIST traceable solutions. The calibrated Rod Source typically have a calibration accuracy of ? 3%-9% at 99% confidence level. The activity end is color coded to make them easier to identify. Available in Co-57, Cs-137, and Ba-133. All Rod Sources are 2.95 inches in length, .47 inches in diameter with .125 inch active diameter.
